We are a family that, for over 20 years, has made the restaurant its home. Our cooking and our hospitality reflect our family story.

The team

The dream of Mimmo and Aga

The restaurant was born from the dream of Mimmo, an Aspromonte native, and Agnieszka, originally from Poland and known to everyone as Aga. After their wedding they began the adventure that still unites them today in a shared passion for food and wine.

Aga is our chef: she has learned the secrets of Calabrian cuisine and enjoys preparations that bring out its flavours, using local ingredients. Mimmo, a great wine enthusiast, selects the best labels and supports Aga in choosing the produce.

Today their sons Fedele and Jan also contribute to the growth of the restaurant, the pizzeria and the selection of beers, wines and top-quality ingredients. A team of collaborators, at our side for many years, brings relaxation, good food and the hospitality that will make you feel at home at every lunch and dinner.

The venue

A typical mountain chalet

A warm, bright and welcoming interior, with the wood-burning stove at its heart that warms the rooms in winter and gives comfort to snow-covered guests. The atmosphere is the evocative one of a mountain lodge.

In summer you can eat outdoors on the terrace, sheltered by a wooden structure, immersed in Aspromonte nature with a view of the Strait of Messina.
